Inayah Raheem was born in North Carolina and moved across the country throughout her childhood.  During this time, she became very passionate about choral singing and performed with choirs across the country.  Inayah attended Oberlin College and Conservatory where she studied Africana Studies and Vocal Performance.  At Oberlin, she participated in operas and deeply immersed herself in research with the Africana Studies department.

She currently lives and works in Harlem, New York and continues to pursue opera performance opportunities in her free time.
