ARTISTIC DIRECTOR: Dr. ROLLO DILWORTH
Through its innovative choral festival programming, world-class venues, and high magnitude choral music educators, composers, and conductors, Choirs of America (aka, "COA") engages, inspires, and educates choirs across the country (and internationally). Beginning with our very first choral festival and concert in 2010, led by Eric Whitacre, we have continued to grow and offer unsurpassed choral festival programming to more and more ensembles. All of our festival programs seek to significantly enhance the quality of choral music education, performance opportunities, and overall experience for participating choirs.
Each and every COA event features signature venues (like Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in NYC) matched with world-class teaching faculty, conductors, adjudicators, and workshop presenters. Moreover, all of our participating performers benefit from working on newly-commissioned music, high-impact adjudicated and, often, concert performances, full clinics with world-renowned choral educators, observational and choral exchange opportunities for all participating ensembles.
