Madelyn was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  She received her undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance and Music Therapy from the University of Minnesota School of Music - Twin Cities in 2018 and moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 2022 after working in psychiatric youth mental health for four years.

While attending school in the Twin Cities, Madelyn volunteered with community children's choirs for underserved youth and spent a year as an intern for Voices of Hope, a choir based out of the women's Correctional Facility in Shakopee, Minnesota.  Moving to Colorado ultimately inspired her to find a new path while staying connected to her musical roots and her passion for community music.  She joined Harmony Tours as an Operations Assistant in 2023 and looks forward to continue crafting meaningful musical experiences for students and educators!
